This evaluation examines the strength of the partnerships and capacity of the Murray Consortium to achieve positive outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people through its collaborative governance structure. The report focuses on the health of the partnership, and the identification of challenges. This evaluation and report has provided recommendations and provides a clear direction which indicates a strong commitment of the Murray Consortium to improve and grow the collaborative governance model to enable better access and self-determination for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities within the area.
This partnership is the first time local ACCOs and other partners have come together to work collaboratively on Aboriginal eye health in East Gippsland.
