Age-friendly North East Victoria hosted a Conversation Hour panel discussion on heat health and how our changing climate is shaping the experience of ageing in Victoria’s North East. Part of the Reconnection series, this event was hosted by Dr Kathleen Brasher, Executive Officer, Upper Hume Primary Care Partnership, and Manager Age-friendly North East Victoria.

Ageing, Connection and Participation – Part 2

This panel discussion on ageing, connection and participation was held as part of Age-friendly North East Victoria's Reconnection series. This was the second of a two-part panel discussion and explored how organisations in North East Victoria are supporting older people to maintain social connections and remain active participants in their community. Featured on the panel were projects from: - Charles Sturt University—Mapping liveability in Indigo Shire - Wodonga Council—Ageing well in Wodonga: creating new and strengthening existing pathways to reduce older people’s social isolation and increase wellbeing - Equilibre Health—Physical activity and bushfire recovery. Part 1 of this event was held on 22 February 2022

This panel discussion on ageing, connection and participation was held as part of Age-friendly North East Victoria's Reconnection series. This was the first of a two-part panel discussion exploring how organisations across Victoria are supporting older people to remain connected and active participants in their communities Presentations included: - Digital inclusion for older people—Moorabool Shire Council - Connection through contribution—Melton City Council - Bringing age-friendly domains to seniors clubs—Yarra City Council - Supporting clubs to be age-inclusive—Latrobe City Council. Part 2 of
