Victorian Primary Care Partnership

The local footy club is so often the heart of a community in regional Australia, and the small town of Tatong in Victoria’s North East is no exception. In 2013, the Tatong Football Netball Club held its second annual Dreamtime Round to celebrate its Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander players and their contribution to the club and local community. This short documentary film, ‘Tatong dreaming’, explores why this round is so important to the club, its players and the local Indigenous community. Central Hume Primary Care Partnership has supported the round as a Closing the Health Gap initiative and commissioned this film.
